Mat has been in the insurance industry since 1995 and has significant experience in terms of the “hands on” and proactive management of commercial general insurance claims.

Mat brings a wealth of technical experience to his role as leader of the Omnia team having experience since 1998 in conducting audits of coverholders, reinsurance books and undertaking claims reviews of TPAs in the USA, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Mat also has extensive and specialised experience in the management of Public & Products Liability and Financial Lines claims in various insurance markets globally, including Australia, UK (Lloyd’s and Company Market), USA, Asia and New Zealand.

Experienced in most classes of business, including the management of specialty risk sector claims, including medical malpractice, product recall/liability, marine and contingency, Mat understands the skills needed in assessing indemnity, liability and quantum issues; and gauging damages for reserving claims and cost estimates.

In addition, Mat has front-line exposure providing loss adjusting services.

Mat has been involved in high level litigation matters during the course of his career, in addition to being actively involved in fraud investigations involving coverholders and insurers, working in conjunction with local enforcement authorities, so understands the importance of proper claims management of cases for Underwriters.

Bryan began his insurance career in 1978 and has over 45 years of experience in (re)insurance.

Bryan brings extensive knowledge of the insurance industry to Omnia Audit, from underwriting through to operational management. He developed his underwriting skills working in the London market and has acted as an operational and change management consultant to multiple and varied companies, both underwriting and intermediary.

He has experience managing reinsurance portfolios of various classes, including marine, property and casualty, as well as in Operational and Systems management and design.

Bryan’s time working for the Financial Services Authority, where he regulated major wholesale intermediaries, provided him a wealth of experience in auditing and managing large accounts.

He has been at the helm of companies during various periods of transformation and change, including as the Director of Lloyd’s Syndicate during the Equitas transition, where he managed relationships with accountants, auditors, litigation, and actuaries.

Bryan has distinct expertise in processing change management at coverholder brokers firms.
